Alabama heads into Saturday's homecoming game against Texas A&M likely missing three more regulars. Friday night's SEC availability report moved starting offensive lineman Racin Delgatty, defensive back Zabien Brown and freshman running back EJ Crowell from questionable to doubtful, ClutchPoints reported, citing On3's Pete Nakos. Doubtful does not mean ruled out, but it leaves all three unlikely to play.

Those three are on top of the players already out. Wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams and Terrance Green had been ruled out earlier in the week, according to Bama Hammer. Coleman-Williams, who also missed the loss at Tennessee, led the Crimson Tide with 23 catches, 415 yards and four touchdowns through six games, per Roundtable Sports.

The losses hit all three phases of Alabama's lineup. Delgatty, the Cal Poly transfer, has started every game he has played this season. He was hurt late against Georgia and sat out at Tennessee, and Bama Hammer reported that sophomore Mal Waldrep would make a second straight start in his place. Brown and Crowell were both hurt in the second quarter in Knoxville and did not return. Brown has 19 tackles, four pass breakups and a fumble recovery in seven games, and Crowell has 216 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries. Without Brown, Bama Hammer expects Dijon Lee and Carmelo O'Neal to start at cornerback. Daniel Hill and Trae'shawn Brown would carry more of the running game.

The Aggies' Friday report went the other way: wide receiver Mario Craver and defensive tackle DJ Hicks were upgraded to probable.

What it means for Saturday

Alabama is 5-2 and ranked No. 13, but the offense that averaged nearly 50 points during a 5-0 start has scored 27 points across the last two weeks, losing 20-17 to Georgia and 26-10 at Tennessee. Roundtable Sports noted the Tide turned the ball over four times in Knoxville and converted 2 of 13 third downs. Going into a bye week with a game at LSU on November 7 to follow, a third straight loss would cost Alabama most of its margin for error.

Texas A&M arrives at 4-3. It has scored a combined 12 points in road losses at LSU (35-6) and Missouri (27-6), and it lost at home to Kentucky. Its wins have come against Missouri State, Arizona State, Arkansas and, last week, The Citadel by 41-0.

The market still has Alabama well ahead. On this site's board, which tracks 12 venues, Novig has the Crimson Tide favored at -525 on the moneyline, with Texas A&M at +506. Novig puts the spread at Alabama -13.5 (-102). The best Alabama spread price anywhere is theScore Bet's -12.5 at -115, so the venues are about a point apart on the margin. The total sits at 50.5 on Novig, with the over at +102, while Hard Rock Bet has the lowest number on the board at 49.5 (-110). Sportsbook hold on the spread runs from 3.4% to 7.0%.

Those numbers were set with most of the week's injury news already public. Whether Alabama's offense can get back on track without its top receiver, its lead freshman back and a starting lineman is the main question for Saturday afternoon on ABC.
