ESPN's College GameDay will not be at No. 3 Georgia against No. 17 Florida on Saturday. The show announced Sunday that it will broadcast from Bloomington instead, where defending national champion Indiana hosts Minnesota. As Pro Football Network reported, plenty of SEC fans pointed at Pat McAfee, the former Indiana-area kicker who has been one of the program's loudest national supporters. "This reeks of Pat McAfee choice," one fan posted on X, in a reply Pro Football Network collected.

The Daily Hoosier confirmed that this will be the show's second full edition from Indiana's campus, after the 2024 visit for Washington. It will also be the fourth straight week the Hoosiers have had a national pregame show on site. Indiana is 7-1 after a 13-6 overtime win at Michigan. Minnesota is 5-2 and just beat No. 15 Iowa 13-10 on a field goal as time expired. Pro Football Network's own model gives the Gophers about a 5.5 percent chance in Bloomington, and that number is a big part of why fans in Athens and Gainesville are unhappy.

In practical terms, the pick changes little for either SEC team. Georgia and Florida still kick off on ABC, and the rivalry will carry plenty of national attention without the morning show. It does take some of the spotlight off a matchup between a top-three team and a ranked opponent coming off a road win over a top-10 team.

What it means for Saturday

The two teams arrive heading in opposite directions. Georgia is 6-1, but its last game was a 27-24 home loss to Auburn, a week after a 20-17 win at No. 6 Alabama. Wins of 41-13 over Oklahoma and 38-14 over Vanderbilt show how good the Bulldogs can be. The past two weeks show how thin their margins have become.

Florida is 5-2, and its season has swung back and forth. The Gators beat No. 4 Ole Miss 52-28, then lost 45-17 at No. 25 Missouri and 38-19 to South Carolina before winning 27-24 at No. 7 Texas last week. Florida has scored 44 or more four times, which matters against a Georgia defense that just gave up 27 to Auburn.

The board still has Georgia clearly in front, with 12 venues posting prices. The Bulldogs are favored by 10.5 points on Novig, where Georgia's moneyline sits at -376. The Florida side of the spread is +10.5 at even money on Novig, and the most points available anywhere is +11.5 at -110 on theScore Bet. On the moneyline, Florida is +355 on Novig and +360 at BetMGM, the best price on the board. The total is 56.5 on Novig at -111 each way. FanDuel has the over at 55.5 and DraftKings has the under at 56.5, both at -110. Sportsbook hold runs from 3.6 to 6.2 percent on the moneyline and up to 7.0 percent on the total, so the venues mostly agree here. The real difference is that one extra point on the Florida spread.

GameDay may be in Indiana, but a Georgia win would put the Auburn loss behind it, and a Florida win would mean back-to-back road upsets of top-10 teams.
