Georgia at Ole Miss: tickets start above $300 for Saturday's night game in Oxford
Seats for No. 2 Georgia at No. 12 Ole Miss on Nov. 7 start at $315 on the resale market. Georgia is favored by 3.5 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Georgia fans who want to be in Oxford on Saturday night will pay more than $300 to get through the gate. The Athens Banner-Herald checked the resale market and found the cheapest seats for No. 2 Georgia at No. 12 Ole Miss starting at $315 on StubHub, $330.40 on Ticketmaster and $336 on Vivid Seats.
Kickoff at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern (6:30 p.m. local) on ABC. The Banner-Herald notes this is Georgia's second night game of the season and its second-to-last road trip. From Athens, fans face roughly a six-and-a-half-hour drive or about an hour in the air. Resale listings we found while confirming the details showed a similar entry point, with one marketplace starting near $319. Prices that high reflect a ranked SEC game in November between two teams that are both still in the playoff race.
The Bulldogs arrive at 7-1 after beating No. 17 Florida 27-8 in Atlanta on Oct. 31. The only blemish is a 27-24 home loss to Auburn, and the Bulldogs have also won 20-17 at Alabama. After Oxford, Georgia closes with Missouri at home, a trip to South Carolina and Georgia Tech.
What it means for Saturday
The numbers favor Georgia, though not by much. Through eight games, the Bulldogs have outscored opponents 328-119, about 41 points scored and 15 allowed per game. Ole Miss is 6-2 and has scored about 37 points a game but allowed 24. The Rebels have home wins over No. 7 LSU, No. 13 Missouri and No. 24 Louisville. Their two losses came on the road, 52-28 at Florida and 34-27 at Texas.
The common opponents point in different directions. Ole Miss beat Auburn 45-15 last week, while Georgia lost to the Tigers. Georgia held Florida to eight points, while the Gators put 52 on the Rebels. Both teams handled Vanderbilt comfortably.
On this site's board for the game, which follows 12 venues, Georgia is favored by 3.5 points. Novig, one of those venues, has Georgia at -163 on the moneyline, a $61.35 profit on $100. Ole Miss is +156, a $156 profit on $100. Novig prices the spread almost evenly: Georgia -3.5 at -100 and Ole Miss +3.5 at -104. Its total is 56.5, with the over at -104 and the under at -102. On Novig, the two moneyline sides carry a margin of about 1%. The sportsbooks on the board carry a hold of 3.5% to 6.3% on the moneyline and 3.8% to 7.0% on the spread, so the gap between venues is wider than the price on either team.
A 3.5-point line on the road suggests the market sees Ole Miss's home field and offense as enough to make this close to even. The 56.5 total sits below what the two teams average combined. That implies an expectation that Georgia's defense, which has allowed more than 20 points just twice, will slow the game down.
