For only the third time since 1933, Georgia and Florida will not settle their rivalry in Jacksonville. The No. 3 Bulldogs and No. 17 Gators meet Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. ET, and ABC has the national broadcast with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit calling the game, The Sporting News reported. The game also streams through the ESPN app and live-TV services that carry ABC, and ESPN's listing includes Disney+.

The game is leaving Jacksonville because the Jaguars' stadium is in the middle of a two-year renovation. The Sporting News reported that the 2027 game is headed to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Ticket listings for Saturday bill it as the Atlanta Gridiron Classic. In practice, Georgia is playing a neutral-site game a short drive from Athens, and Florida fans are traveling farther than usual.

The move comes at an odd point for both teams, and each has had a bye to think about its last game. Georgia lost 27-24 at home to Auburn and dropped out of the No. 1 spot. That was the Bulldogs' first loss, coming two weeks after they won 20-17 at Alabama. Florida had lost back-to-back games by a combined 47 points against Missouri and South Carolina, then went to Austin and beat then-No. 7 Texas 27-24.

What it means for Saturday

Georgia is 6-1 and 4-1 in SEC play. Its defense has been the steadiest unit in the matchup, allowing 15.9 points per game overall and 17.6 against conference teams. Lately the offense has tightened up. After scoring 41 or more in four of their first five games, the Bulldogs managed 20 at Alabama and 24 against Auburn.

Florida is 5-2 and 3-2 in the league, and its results have swung widely. The Gators put up 52 on then-No. 4 Ole Miss and 44 at Auburn, then gave up 45 at Missouri and 38 to South Carolina. They are scoring 31.8 points per game in SEC play and allowing 34.8. That defensive number is the biggest gap between these two teams. Florida has won its last two games against ranked opponents, but both came in shootouts or close finishes, and Georgia's defense has not given up more than 27 points all season.

The market sees it the same way. Across the 12 venues on this site's board, Georgia is favored. Novig lists the Bulldogs at -400 on the moneyline and Florida at +376. On the spread, Novig has Georgia favored by 12.5 at +102, and the Gators +12.5 at -104. The lowest Georgia number anywhere is -11.5 at -105 on theScore Bet. That full-point difference matters in a rivalry where single scores have often decided the game.

The total sits at 56.5 on Novig, at -104 for the over and -100 for the under. BetRivers has the highest line at 57, with the under at -114. Sportsbook hold runs from 3.4% to 7.0% on the spread and from 3.9% to 7.0% on the total. Venues mostly agree on who should win. Where they differ is on the margin.

Georgia goes to Ole Miss next week, and Florida hosts Oklahoma. Both still have playoff-shaping games left, so this one carries weight for both teams wherever it is played.
